Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Why does Reid Health participant in only a few Medicare Advantage plans?

Where can I find a list of all the Medicare options available to me?

If you haven’t already, create an account at https://www.medicare.gov. Once you do, you’ll be able to compare all the Medicare options available in the area you live. You’ll also be able to ensure any prescription drugs you might take fall under whatever options you’re considering.

How does this effect emergency care?

If you’re experiencing a medical emergency, always go to the nearest emergency room. Your insurance company is required to pay for any emergency services at in-network rates.

How long will Reid Health remain in-network with Anthem and UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage plans?

Agreements we reached with Anthem and UnitedHealthcare in 2024 are in place through Dec. 31, 2026.
