Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period

is going on now!

If you’re eligible for Medicare, you have until Dec. 7 to choose the plan that best fits where you are in your health journey. Medicare can be complex with many options to choose from, but we’re here to help.

We recently held a community information session called the “ABCs of Medicare & Medicare Advantage.” Below, you can watch a recording of that event as well as download a copy of the presentation and other documents to help you with your Medicare decision.

Reid Health only accepts the following Medicare Advantage plans:

  • Anthem Medicare Advantage
  • UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage

In addition, Reid Health also accepts the following Medicare Advantage PPO plans, however, you might have increased out-of-pocket expenses:

  • Humana Medicare Advantage PPO
  • Aetna Medicare Advantage PPO
  • Aetna Medicare Advantage PPO ESA (no increased out-of-pocket)

PLEASE NOTE: Humana and Aetna HMO plans will only be accepted for true emergency care at Reid Health in 2026. If you or a loved one needs emergency care, dial 9-1-1 or proceed to the nearest hospital.

Attention, Ohio residents who have United Healthcare Managed Medicaid:

Reid is not in-network with UnitedHealthcare-Ohio Medicaid. Patients who have this product should contact the Ohio Medicaid Member Consumer Hotline at (844) 640-6446 for assistance.

If you’re experiencing a medical emergency, always go to the nearest emergency room. Your insurance company is required to pay for any emergency services at in-network rates.
